Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS) First Deputy Chairman and Bahain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) President Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa today deputised Sultan bin Hamad Al-Khalifa to open the 22nd GCC Water Sport Championship. The championship is being organized by Bahrain Swimming Association at the Khalifa Sport City in Isa Town from September 10 to 22. Shaikh Sultan bin Hamad was received by head of Bahrain Swimming Association, senior sport officials and heads of participating delegations. Shaikh Sultan bin Hamad lauded the efforts exerted by the Organizing Committee to host such championship wishing the sport event every success. Bahrain has so far secured three bronze medals in the championship.
