GCC Beach Games postponed in Saudi Arabia

The Second edition of the GCC Beach Games in Saudi Arabia has been postponed, the GCC Olympic Committee Presidents' Executive Office announced in its meeting in Kuwait City. The event, which is due to take place in Saudi Arabia in April, was put off to next year following a request from the Saudi Olympic Committee as its sports facilities hosting the Games will not be ready on time. Therefore, the Executive Office members decided to reschedule this regional competition for 2014 and opened the door wide open for other national Olympic Committees interested in holding the event.
