Egypt's Sports minister orders big upgrades to Alexandria stadium

Sports and Youths Minister Khaled Abdel Aziz ordered upgrading the Alexandria Stadium after the end of the current season.
During a surprise visit to the stadium on Monday the minister ordered upgrading, fixing, creating new athletic facilities to enhance the game experience for local fans.
The multi-purpose stadium is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium is the oldest in Egypt and Africa, being built in 1929.
