Al Arabi sack Lechantre

Qatari club Al Arabi on Sunday sacked their French coach Pierre Lechantre. "Al Arabi is now looking for a new manager who will match the club's ambitions," announced the side's director general Ahmed Al-Emadi. Lechantre, who took over from Brazilian Paolo Silas in March this year, is a former coach of the Qatari national side. His dismissal comes less than 24 hours after Al Arabi's goalless draw with Al Gharafa on the third day of the new season. FIFA
