
West Ham's Mali striker Modibo Maiga has joined Metz on a one-year loan deal with an option to buy, the French Ligue 1 outfit announced on Wednesday.
Maiga joins Metz after spending the second half of last season loaned out to Queen Park Rangers, who joined West Ham in the Premier League aster gaining promotion from the Championship.
The 26-year-old forward has already had experience of France's top flight, playing for Le Mans and Sochaux.
Last week West Ham signed Metz's Senegal striker Diafra Sakho for an undisclosed fee.
