Rayo Vallecano have taken Atletico Madrid full-back Emiliano Insua on a season-long loan. The 25-year-old former Liverpool left-back is surplus to requirements at Atletico, having managed only nine appearances in their title-winning campaign last season.
He is one of three players brought in by Rayo Vallecano on deadline day, with veteran goalkeeper Tono Martinez signing a two-year deal and midfielder Mohammed Fatau coming in on loan from Granada.
