USA's friendly against five-time FIFA World Cup™ champions Brazil on 30 May will be held at FedEx Field, the home of the Washington Redskins NFL team. The fixture had been announced last month as part of Brazil's three-match friendly tour of the United States, but the venue had not been named. Brazil will face Argentina in a battle of South American giants on 9 June at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, the 80,000-seater stadium that is home to the NFL's Super Bowl champion New York Giants and the New York Jets. That friendly comes a week after Argentina confront Ecuador in the fifth round of qualifying for the 2014 World Cup hosted by Brazil. Brazil are also slated to play Mexico in the United States in June. For the United States, the Brazil match will be a warm-up for the next round of CONCACAF FIFA World Cup qualifying. The Americans play a friendly against Italy in Genoa on 29 February. They plan to host Scotland on 26 May and will face Canada in Toronto on 3 June in a friendly.
