Alanzinho and Volkan Sen scored late goals as Trabzonspor shrugged off an early scare to overcome Sivasspor 2-1 and reclaim third place in the Turkish Super Lig table. The visitors, without a win in their previous four league games, threatened an upset when Bolivian striker Ricardo Pedriel fired them in front in the 37th minute. Just one minute after replacing Adrian Mierzejewski, substitute Alanzinho struck a 69th-minute equaliser, and Sen grabbed the winner for Senol Gunes' men nine minutes from time.
