HE Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Secretary General of the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) yesterday dedicated the bronze medal of Mutaz Essa Barshim in men's high jump event to HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and HH  the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani . Speaking after the crowing ceremony of Barshim, HE the QOC Secretary General  said "This win is dedicated to the Emir and the Heir Apparent. They have laid great emphasis on sports for years and we see the positive results now” “Mutaz did extremely well tonight. I congratulate the athletics officials who have been working hard to get the athletes in good shape." He added. From : Qatar Olympic Committee
