Genoa have signed striker Giuseppe Sculli from Lazio for an undisclosed fee, the club confirmed today. The 30-year-old had been strongly linked with a move away from the Stadio Olimpico this month, despite making 11 league appearances for Lazio this season. Sculli returns to his former club one year after being sold to Lazio. A statement from the club read: "Beppe Sculli returns to Genoa, where he played from 2006 until 2011. "He has strongly wanted this move and the agreement between the clubs has been reached." Sculli is the second forward to arrive to Genoa this month, with the Liguria club having previously acquired Alberto Gilardino from Fiorentina.
