Saudi runner qualifies for semifinals of 1500 meters race

Saudi runner Mohammed Shaween has qualiied for the semifinals of the 1500 meters race after ranking first yesterday in the first round of the competition in the 2012 London Olympic Games. Shaween recorded a time of 3:39:42 minutes. Another Saudi runner Imad Nour was eliminated from the competition after recording a time of 3:42:29 minutes. The semifinal race will be held on Sunday.
