Holders PSV Eindhoven eased into the fourth round of the KNVB Beker with a 3-1 win over EHC Hoensbroek. Memphis Depay opened the scoring for PSV after 20 minutes, but they were made to sweat by the third-division visitors who stood firm deep into the second half. Their defiance eventually broke 17 minutes from the end when Georgino Wijnaldum scored, but Ron Starmans pulled a goal back after 84 minutes. It was as close as EHC got, though, as Gianluca Maria grabbed a deciding third goal in injury time. Eredivisie champions Ajax were 2-0 winners, while last season's beaten finalists Heracles Almelo progressed by the same scoreline. Ajax were far from comfortable against amateur side ONS Sneek, however, as they only confirmed their win with goals from Viktor Fischer (74) and Stefano Denswil (88) late on. Samuel Armenteros struck twice in the second half as Heracles beat second division Sparta Rotterdam. Zwolle won their all-Eredivisie tie with RKC Waalwijk 4-2 after they twice came from behind. RKC twice led through Teddy Chevalier (eight) and Mart Lieder only to be pulled back on each occasion by Youness Mokhtar (nine) and Ronnie Reniers (48). Mokhtar then got his second to send Zwolle ahead for the first time on 62 minutes before Rochdi Achenteh sealed victory. NAC Breda needed penalties to beat HBS Craeyenhout after their match ended 1-1. Sami Aoulad Said gave the third-tier side a 37th-minute lead, but Anthony Lurling levelled before NAC won 4-2 on penalties. Wilfried Bony's first-half double helped Vitesse Arnhem top a comfortable 4-0 home win over Staphorst. Jonathan Reis and Davy Propper netted after the break. From FIFA
