PSG in talks with Porto for Hulk

The Ligue 1 leaders are desperate to bolster their attack, and have turned their attention to the Brazilian ace after failing to sign Manchester City's Carlos Tevez.Paris Saint-Germain have opened talks with Porto with a view to purchasing Hulk, France Football reports.The ambitious club are in the market for a new striker as they look to retain their place at the Ligue 1 summit.Manchester City outcast Carlos Tevez is believed to be their number-one transfer target, but the Argentine's preference for a move to AC Milan has forced PSG sporting director Leonardo to look elsewhere.The Paris-based club are thought to be long-term admirers of Hulk, with the player's agent claiming last month that Leonardo is a fan of his client, while refusing to rule out a move to the Parc des Princes in the future.French sources claim that PSG engaged in exploratory talks with Porto in the last few days to enquire about the striker's availability.The Brazil international, who has been at Porto since 2008, has a contract with the Estadio do Dragao-based outfit until 2016, with a €100 million release clause written into it.Earlier this week, in an interview with radio Jovem Pan Hulk admitted that his buy-out option was high, but noted "there are Sheiks out there who can spend that much cash."
