Barcelona goalkeeper Jose Manuel Pinto has signed a one-year contract extension which ties him to the club until 30 June 2014. The 37-year-old, who is the back-up goalkeeper to Victor Valdes, follows in the footsteps of team-mates Lionel Messi, Xavi and Carles Puyol who have also penned contract extensions in recent weeks. Pinto signed a permanent contract at Barça in 2008 following a short loan spell. His appearances have mainly been restricted to the Copa Del Rey, playing in three finals of the competition, winning the 2009 and 2012 editions. He moved to the Catalan giants from Celta Vigo after almost a decade at the club. From FIFA
