Olympic Medal: M Omnium Cycling

Lasse Norman Hansen of Denmark won the Olympic gold medal Sunday in the men's cycling omnium competition. The silver medal went to Ryan Coquard of France and the bronze to Edward Clancy of Britain. This was the first time the omnium event had been held at the Olympics. It consists of six different types cycling races with points being awarded in each one.
