Olympiacos kept the pressure on Super League leaders Panathinaikos as they defeated Panionios 2-0 today. Midfielder Jean Makoun headed second-placed Olympiacos ahead from a free-kick after 41 minutes, and striker Diogo made sure of the points. Diogo nodded home the second goal from close range in the 50th minute after a cross from the left. PAOK Salonika remain third, but they are now 13 points behind Olympiacos, who in turn trail Panathinaikos by two points. PAOK were held 0-0 at home in their derby with Aris Salonika. Atromitos climbed one place to reach fifth in the table thanks to a 2-1 win at Giannina. Andreas Tatos put visitors Atromitos ahead after 30 minutes, and Kostas Mitroglou doubled the lead with 20 minutes left to play. A penalty from veteran striker Ibrahima Bakayoko cut the lead in the 75th minute, but Atromitos held on to climb above OFI Crete. Kerkyra improved their survival prospects with a 3-1 home win over bottom-of-the-table Doxa Dramas. Elias Ioannou gave Kerkyra a 20th-minute lead with a penalty and doubled the advantage after 51 minutes. Leonidas Kivelidis pulled a goal back 12 minutes later, but Tassos Agritis sealed the win in the 75th minute. That lifted Kerkyra up one place to third-bottom, still in the drop zone, however, now ahead of Panetolikos who lost 2-0 at home to Levadiakos. Levadiakos' success hoisted them four points clear of the bottom three and came courtesy of two goals from Stefano Napoleoni in the 35th and 41st minutes.
