The Inter defender reacted positively to Italian media reports that AC Milan has expressed interest in fellow Japan national team regulars Shinji Kagawa and Eiji Kawashima.Yuto Nagatomo on Wednesday expressed confidence that Samurai Blue team-mates Shinji Kagawa and Eiji Kawashima could one day join him in Italy's top flight. Both players have been linked to Inter rivals Milan in recent days as speculation mounts over potential off-season transfers."They think very highly of Italian football," Nagatomo told Nikkan while signing autographs for fans at Inter's official team shop in Milan. "I think they could make it. They both play at a high enough level [for Serie A]."Japan goalkeeper Kawashima and agent Andrea D'Amico travelled to Milan earlier this week, where they met with the club's board of directors. However, it is considered unlikely that the Rossoneri would use a non-EU player spot for a back-up player."Kawashima dreams of playing in Italy," D'Amico told Sky Sports TV about the 28-year-old, whose contract with Belgian outfit Lierse expires this summer. "I'm going to work hard to make that a reality."Meanwhile, Dortmund star Shinji Kagawa is deciding whether to remain at the club he has called home for the last two seasons, or make the jump to England's Premier League.Arsenal and Manchester United are among a number of clubs across Europe looking to acquire the 23-year-old, who set a scoring record for Japanese players in Europe with 12 goals this season.
