Qatar’s long distance runner Musaeb Abdulrehman failed to sparkle in the second heat of the 800m semifinals at Olympic Stadium on Tuesday. World record holder David Rudisha of Kenya produced a sublime run to win the heat followed by home hope Andrew Osagie. Both qualified for the finals. Rudisha finished with a time of 1:44.35 while Osagie ended the heat in 1:44.74. Qatar's Musaeb clocked 1:47.52 while Hamad Mohamed of Egypt finished a notch behind with 1:48.18. Musaeb started with promise, challenging the group in the first 400m, but lost pace thereafter. From : Qatar Olympic Committee
