A Jonathan Tinhan strike seven minutes from time guided Montpellier into the semi-finals of the Coupe de la Ligue courtesy of a 3-2 win over Nice. The reigning Ligue 1 champions fell behind to an Alexy Bosetti strike after 22 minutes, but they recovered to lead through Remy Cabella (30) and Emanuel Herrera (52). Nice drew level through a Eric Bautheac penalty after 66 minutes, but Tinhan popped up to win it for Montpellier just seven minutes after entering the action as Herrera's replacement. In the night's other quarter-final encounter, Lille ran out comfortable 3-0 winners at Bastia. Gianni Bruno (11) set Lille on their way to the victory before goals by Ronny Rodelin (62) and Djibril Sidibe (84) put the visitors out of sight. FIFA
