Ramiro Corrales scored the final two goals Sunday in the San Jose Earthquakes' 4-0 rout of Chivas USA. Corrales' first tally came in the 71st minute and was one of three direct free kicks that resulted in scores for the MLS-best Earthquakes (16-6-5), who moved seven points ahead of second-place Real Salt Lake in the Western Conference. His second goal came 10 minutes later. Victor Bernardez and Simon Dawkins scored in the first half for San Jose. Chivas (7-11-7), meanwhile, saw its winless streak reach five games.
