Maritimo are a point clear of Sporting Lisbon in fourth place in the Portuguese Liga table after a 1-1 draw with Vitoria Setubal tonight. Heldon gave Maritimo a 25th-minute lead but, just shy of the hour mark, Albert Ze Meyong levelled things up. Pacos Ferreira moved themselves six points away from trouble at the foot of the table as they secured a vital 1-0 win at Academica. Arturo Alvarez put them ahead after just five minutes and, when Abdoulaye Ba was sent off for Academica with ten minutes left, the points were safe. In the day's other game, Olhanense came from two goals down to draw 2-2 at Guimaraes. Things looked bleak for the visitors when Jonathan Urreta and Rodrigo Defendi put Guimaraes clear before the break. But Eduardo Dady started a fightback in the 54th minute and Wilson Eduardo completed it a minute later, with the point secured despite Caue's dismissal.
