Nelson Maz had given Leon the lead with a goal after 27 minutes but the visitors were denied all three points when substitute Matias Abelairas equalised with 23 minutes remaining. A goal each for Morelia and Tigres Monterrey in the space of five second-half minutes ensured the points were shared after a 1-1 draw.
