Bayern Munich captain Philipp Lahm will miss the UEFA Champions League holders' next two games after injuring his right hamstring, the club confirmed on Thursday. The 30-year-old limped out of Bayern's 3-1 win at CSKA Moscow on Wednesday as they extended their winning streak in the Champions League to a record ten matches. A scan in Munich revealed a strained hamstring. Lahm will sit out both Saturday's German Bundesliga clash at home to bottom side Eintracht Braunschweig and Wednesday's German Cup third-round match at home to Augsburg. This will be the first Bundesliga game Lahm will have missed under Bayern coach Pep Guardiola this season as Munich look to extend their record unbeaten run in the league to 39 matches. The Bavarian giants are hoping to have Lahm back for their league clash at Werder Bremen on Saturday 7 December, in time for their final Champions League game at home to Manchester City three days later, but the club says his return is dependant on how the injury heals.
