The Rossoneri are looking for an injection of creativity to their squad in the summer transfer window, and they have earmarked the Japan international as a potential signing.AC Milan are closely monitoring the situation of Borussia Dortmund playmaker Shinji Kagawa, Goal.com can reveal. The Serie A champions are eager to add some more creativity to their midfield ahead of the 2012-13 campaign, and they see Kagawa, 23, as a viable option to strengthen their squad. The Japan international has a contract with Dortmund until the summer of 2013, and the Bundesliga leaders are keen to tie him down in the long-term, and have offered to double his wages. However, contract talks between the two parties have so far been unsuccessful as Kagawa appears to be hesitant to sign an extension at the Signal Iduna Park.As such, Dortmund could be tempted to cash in on the attacking midfielder in the summer transfer window, and Milan are ready to pounce if BVB put their star player up for sale.Kagawa joined Dortmund from Cerezo Osaka in the summer of 2010, and has since developed into a key player at the German champions.Meanwhile, Milan are also contemplating luring Aleksandar Kolarov away from Manchester City. The Rossoneri are keen to sign a new left-back this summer, and they believe the 26-year-old Serbia international could be the answer to their problems on the left side of defence. However, it is unsure whether City are willing to sell Kolarov.
