The Turin giants are closely tracking the young Spain international and they are also believed to be keen on strengthening their squad with two defenders and a midfielder.Iker Muniain has attracted the interest of Juventus following a string of excellent performances at Athletic Bilbao in the 2011-12 campaign, Goal.com can reveal. The Serie A leaders are looking to add a high-profile name to their attack in the summer transfer window, and they see Muniain, 19, as a potential target to reinforce their squad. The Pamplona-born starlet is a product of the Athletic youth academy and has developed into a key player for the Basque giants since making his first-team debut in July 2009.The forward, who has been capped at senior level for Spain, will not be available on the cheap, however, as he has a contract until June 2015 with his current club.In addition to Muniain, Juventus have also shown an interest in Torino defender Angelo Ogbonna and Cagliari's Davide Astori.Ogbonna, 23, is held in high regard by Juve's technical staff as they see the Italy international as an ideal addition to their back-line. However, the Bianconeri face stiff competition from AC Milan in the race for the centre-back's signature.Should they fail to land the Torino man, they could turn their attention to 25-year-old Astori, who is a personal favourite of general director Giuseppe Marotta.Meanwhile, the Bianconeri are sitting in pole position to lure Italy Under-21 star Marco Verratti away from Pescara.Talks between the two clubs have intensified in recent days and Juventus are hopeful of signing the midfielder on a co-ownership deal worth €3.5 million.Pescara set an initial €8m asking price for Verratti's full economical rights, but the Turin giants are confident that an agreement will eventually be reached.
