Speculation that Julio Cesar is set to leave Inter Milan intensified when the Brazil goalkeeper was not called up for the start of the Serie A club's pre-season training camp on Friday. The position of the 32-year-old, who has helped Inter win five Serie A titles and a Champions League crown since joining them in 2005, has been thrown into doubt after the club reached an agreement to sign Slovenia keeper Samir Handanovic from Udinese this week. Uruguay forward Diego Forlan, who has failed to meet expectations after arriving from Atletico Madrid last season and is reportedly negotiating to rescind his contract, was not at the training camp either. Serbian midfielder Dejan Stankovic, who like Julio Cesar is part of Inter's old guard, was absent too, although this may be because he had an operation on an Achilles tendon problem in May.
