Second-half goals from Marcos Antonio and Kleber helped Gremio keep in touch with the top two sides in the Brazilian Campeonato after a 2-0 win over Nautico Recife on Thursday. Marcos Antonio came off the bench to open the scoring in the 62nd minute before Kleber settled matters with a last-gasp effort. The victory means Gremio are four points behind second place Atletico Mineiro and a further two adrift of league leaders Fluminense. In today's other fixture, Cidinho's 78th-minute strike ensured Botafogo claimed a 1-1 draw at home to Internacional. Leandro Damiao had given the visitors a 70th minute lead but it did not last long as Botafogo substitute Cidinho struck to claim a share of the spoils for his side.
