Great Britain claimed team show jumping gold at the London Olympics on Monday as Saudi Arabia, leaders going into the final day, had to settle for the bronze. The Netherlands took the silver when they lost a gripping jump-off against Britain. The head-to-head showdown was required to split the two teams after they had finished the competition in a tie for first with eight penalty points. Saudi Arabia had 14 penalty points, leaving them in third place.
