Sunderland striker Fraizer Campbell was the shock inclusion as England caretaker manager Stuart Pearce named a youthful squad for next week's friendly with Holland here Thursday. Former Manchester United prospect Campbell, 24, whose career has been ravaged by injuries in recent years, was named in a 25-man squad that also saw a recall for Manchester City's Micah Richards. As expected, Pearce omitted England veterans Frank Lampard and Rio Ferdinand while John Terry missed out through injury. However there was no place for Arsenal teenager Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who has impressed in his club displays this season. Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard meanwhile is in line to make his first appearance for England since 2010 after being included amongst the midfielders. Pearce takes charge of next Wednesday's friendly against the 2010 World Cup finalists following the shock resignation of Fabio Capello earlier this month.
