London - Arabstoday
Rennes head coach Frederic Antonetti has revealed out-of-favour midfielder Stephane Dalmat could leave the club in January. The 32-year-old former Inter Milan and Tottenham player joined Rennes from Sochaux last year but has lost his place in the first team this season. He has made just four brief substitute appearances totalling 45 minutes in the French league this season and did not travel with the squad to Spain for tomorrow's UEFA Europa League clash with Atletico Madrid. Antonetti said in L'Equipe: "Would it be better for him to leave for another challenge? We have asked the question, him too. He is a very good player - he shows that sometimes. But we haven't had success together. He carries a part of the responsibility, but not all."
