CSKA Moscow stayed hot on the heels of Russian Premier League leaders Anzhi Makhachkala with a 2-0 win over Rubin Kazan. Rasmus Elm broke the deadlock in the 69th minute with a penalty after Seydou Doumbia tumbled in the area, and Rubin's woes increased three minutes later when Ivan Marcano was dismissed for a reckless challenge on Keisuke Honda. Ahmed Musa dealt the final blow eight minutes from time to keep CSKA two points from the summit. Terek Grozny sit third, two points further back, after edging out Amkar Perm on the road thanks to Igor Lebedenko's 66th-minute goal. Lokomotiv Moscow fell off the pace at the top as they were held to a goalless draw away at Rostov. A brace from Aleksandr Kokorin helped Dinamo Moscow climb away from trouble with a 2-1 away win over Mordovia Saransk. Kokorin had Dinamo ahead after just six minutes and, although Ruslan Mukhametshin levelled with a penalty on the hour mark, Kokorin needed just three minutes to restore the visitors' lead. From Fifa
