Colon Santa Fe climbed to seventh in the Argentinian Clausura standings on Monday thanks to a 2-0 home win over Belgrano Cordoba. Gerardo Alcoba gave his side the perfect start by netting the opening goal in the first minute, and Esteban Fuertes made the points safe 18 minutes from time. The result put the victors three points clear of their visitors - and five points behind leaders Boca Juniors after 13 games.
