Camara signs for Valenciennes

Standard Liege's Senegalese defender Pape Abdou Camara has signed for Valenciennes until June 2015, the Ligue 1 club announced on Thursday. The 20-year-old Camara, who has spent the past two years in the Belgian first division, has a similar style to Colombian central defender Carlos Sanchez who is expected to leave the club when his contract runs out in June 2012. Valenciennes are also interested in signing Swedish midfielder Dusan Djuric from FC Zurich to fill in for Korea Republic international Nam Tae-Hee who has quit the Ligue 1 side for Qatari outfit Lekhwiya.
