Busquets extends contract at Barcelona

Spain midfielder Sergio Busquets has extended his contract at Barcelona until the end of the 2017/18 season, the Liga champions annuonced on Tuesday. The 25-year-old will remain at the Camp Nou until June 30 2018 with the option to stay another year, director of football, Andoni Zubizarreta told a news conference. The player's buyout clause remains at 150 million euros ($196 million, £130 million), the club added on its website fcbarcelona.com.
