Club America striker Christian Benitez's late penalty snatched a 3-2 win against Puebla to move them second in the Mexican Clausura table on Sunday. The visitors had to come from behind to grab their win after Luis Garcia (24pen) and DaMarcus Beasley (48) fired Puebla ahead after Daniel Montenegro's sixth-minute opener. A Gonzalo Pineda own goal on 49 minutes drew them level before Benitez won it. Jaguares stayed in contention for the finals series with a 3-0 win at Unam Pumas. Half-time substitute Franco Arizala scored either side of a Jackson Martinez strike to grab a much-needed win.
