Benitez double lifts America in Monterrey

Christian Benitez struck twice as Club America drew 2-2 at Monterrey in the first leg of their Mexican Clausura semi-final on Wednesday night. Benitez notched five minutes after half-time to cancel out Humberto Suazo's first-half opener and then edged his side ahead in the 69th minute. The lead lasted only four minutes, though, before Aldo De Nigris equalised to boost his team's chances heading into Saturday's second leg. Source: fifa.com
