Benfica moved three points clear at the top of the Portuguese Liga with a 2-1 success at home to winless Beira Mar. The visitors took a shock lead through Vincent Sasso after just five minutes, but Benfica eventually pulled level in the 59th minute with a goal from Maxi Pereira. Rodrigo then completed the comeback two minutes later to preserve Benfica's unbeaten start to the season and leave Beira Mar still propping up the standings. From Fifa
