Bani Yas moved level on points with UAE League leaders Al Ain following a comfortable 3-1 win at Al Dhafra on Thursday. The high-flyers took a 37th minute lead through Yousef Jaber's penalty and Mohammed Fawzi doubled their advantage just after the hour mark. Bandar Ali pulled one back almost immediately but Andre Senghor restored the visitors' two-goal cushion in the final minute as they moved up to second behind Al Ain, who have a game in hand. Bani Yas are now a point ahead of Al Nasr, who missed the opportunity to take over at the top after being held to a 2-2 draw at Al Ahly. Giuseppe Mascara opened the scoring in the 42nd minute but Ismail Al Hammadi levelled on the stroke of half-time for the hosts. Basheer Saeed put fourth-placed Al Ahly in front after 55 minutes but Mascara ensured a share of the spoils with his and Al Nasr's second in the 88th minute. Elsewhere, Yousuf Al Hammadi's last-gasp strike rescued a 1-1 draw for Dubai SC at Al Jazira, who had taken a 51st minute lead through Ali Mabkhout. From : FIFA
