Lebanese Taekwondo player Andrea Paoli has qualified for the quarter-finals of the Women’s 57 kg Taekwondo following a 4-2 victory over Nidia Munoz of Cuba in the preliminary round of the competition. After a scoreless first round Paoli took control in the second, scoring three points to her opponents one. She maintained her composure in the third and final round scoring a further point to ease her way to victory. In the quarterfinals Paoli will face Li-Cheng Tseng of Chinese Taipei who defeated Rangsiya Nisaisom of Thailand by a margin of four points to one in the preliminary round. From: The Daily Star
