London - Arabstoday

Ahly football director Sayed Abdel-Hafiz revealed that the team will fly to Turkey to start their preparatory camp for the new season on Sunday. "We have named 40 persons including 26 players to join the team's crew that will travel to Turkey on Sunday," Abdel-Hafiz told a television programme. "The team will play three friendlies during Turkey camp on 20, 24 and 27 June but the teams have yet to be determined," he added. "The friendlies won't be easy as we lose the services of our regular players that are on national team duties." "More European teams will join Ahly in Turkish camp." "The preparatory camp will be finished on 2 July with a tough friendly before facing Mazembe in the CAF Champions League Group stage," the Ahly football director said. "The crew will fly Sunday's morning after finalizing their voting in the presidency election" The Cairo giants Ahly are preparing for the new season championships as well as the game against Congolese side Mazembe in the CAF Champions League group stage opener next July.
