850 students to participate in SOP events

The six edition of  the Schools Olympic Program (SOP) under the theme “Sport and Investment” will feature several sports events in the third week on Wednesday. Around 850 students (boys and girls) are expected to participate in the volleyball, handball and football competitions on Wednesday. According to the SOP program, the volleyball competitions for boys’ preparatory schools will be held at the indoor halls of Al-Wakrah and Al-Arabi Sports Clubs. In another scene, the handball competitions for boys’ Preparatory schools  will  continue at the Qatar SC indoor hall. Likewise, the football competitions for boys’ primary schools schools will be held at the playgrounds of QFA Technical Committee. The SOP competitions will be suspended from Thursday to the first week of November on occasion of Eid Al-Adha.
