Porto moved back above Benfica and into top spot in the Liga with a thumping 5-0 home win over Gil Vicente. Danilo opened the scoring after four minutes and Porto doubled their lead after 11 minutes thanks to an own goal from Vitor Vinha. Steven Defour made it three nine minutes after the break, while the visitors had Carolino Claudio sent off just after the hour mark. Silvestre Varela got Porto's fourth 15 minutes from time and Jackson Martinez completed the rout in the 90th minute. Porto now head Benfica on goal difference, while Gil Vicente are fourth bottom.
