Yemen attacks
Paris - Arab Today

France condemned the explosion that took place Thursday in Houthi-run al Balili mosque during Eidul Adha prayers leaving 25 persons dead.

In statements on Thursday, the French Foreign Ministry spokesman Roman Nadal said that his country offers condolences to the families of the victims and supports the legitimate authorities as well as the Yemeni people in combating terrorism.

France urges all parties concerned to renounce violence, he noted.

The spokesman further underscored that Paris backs the efforts of the United Nations Special Envoy to Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed and calls on the conflicting parties to find a political solution to the Yemeni crisis.

Nadal stressed on the need of delivering humanitarian aid to the civilians.
