Cairo - Arab Today

Speaker of the Arab Parliament Ahmed bin Mohammed al Jarwan strongly denounced Tuesday the terrorist attack on a hotel in Arish where judges overseeing the parliamentary elections were staying earlier today.

In a statement, Jarwan asserted that such terrorist actions aim at destabilizing Egypt, adding that they will not bring the Egyptians back from achieving progress and reaching security and development.

Jarwan strongly denounced the attack, asserting that the Arab Parliament is totally against all forms of terror which aims at affecting peace and spreading violence.

Jarwan offered condolences to the Egyptian people and government over the victims of the attack.

Six people including two judges and three policemen were killed and many others wounded.
