Al-Azhar mourns death of 22 UAE soldiers in Yemen

Grand Imam of Al Azhar Dr Ahmed el Tayeb mourned on Friday the death of 22 UAE soldiers during operations in Yemen.
In a statement, Egypt's most prestigious institute of Sunni Islam offered condolences to families of the deceased soldiers.
Also, the statement voiced appreciation of the UAE for its stances and sacrifices for the sake of the Arab and Muslim worlds.
Earlier, the UAE state news agency, WAM, said the soldiers were killed in an accidental explosion during operations in Yemen.
