Its scholars back armed forces in its efforts to confront militants

Azhar University Undersecretary Abbas Shouman asserted that Azhar and its scholars are backing the armed forces in their efforts to confront terrorism, praising the courageousness of the Egyptian soldiers in safeguarding their homeland.
In statements on the fringe of a ceremony held by Azhar to grant motorbikes for students with special needs, Shouman said Azhar with all its affiliate bodies are backing the university in continuing its educational march and eradicating terrorism in all its formations.
He urged Azhar students to be keen on education and work for the future of their country.
Azhar University President Abdel Hay Azab urged Azhar students not to be dragged behind any rumors and focus on their education to be later representatives of Azhar in all world countries.
