Sultan of Oman sails in luxury Ismailia- Yosry Mohamed The world’s third largest super-yacht, owned by Sultan Qaboos of the Oman Kingdom, has crossed the Suez Canal. The Omani yacht approached from the Red Sea heading out towards the Mediterranean. The luxury yacht, worth over $200 million, is expansive at 155 metres long. Weighing a robust 16,000 tons, the yacht comes adorned with a helipad, pool and party hall. Although being third in size, it is currently the world’s most powerful super-yacht (16,500kW). At the time of its launch, the German built vessel was the world's second largest. The largest yacht is owned by Football club mogul and Russian billionaire, Roman Abramovich. For the princely sum of $500 million it dwarfs the Omani yacht at 162.5 metres long.
