Egyptian MP Mohamed Abou Hamed called for activating the civil society's role in coordination with the state to promote tourism in Egypt. "We are in dire need for the role of the civil society, the private sector and all Egyptians to push Egypt toward the path of development, progress and stability," he stressed.

Abou Hamed praised Messi's visit to Egypt, in which the whole world talked about, which showed the security and stability's size that enjoyed by Egypt. "It is no doubt that this visit will have a significant impact on the revitalization of tourism, so I call  for hosting a global superstar, whether in sport or art, in Egypt, through one of the private sector's companies," he explained.

The MP stressed, in an exclusive interview with Arabs Today, that Egypt has begun to return strongly to its African posuition, under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, after decades of absence, saying: "President al-Sisi, and since the first day of his arrival to power, makes wide attention to restore Egypt to its position regionally and internationally, and  to return its relationship with the African countries.

He denounced the statements from the Sudanese side that revolves around   Halayib and Shalateen issue, stressing that not everything that is being said in the media from the Sudanese side deserves to respond.

The leader in Support Egypt bloc, which forms the parliamentary majority in the parliament, launched a sharp attack on MP Mohamed Anwar Sadat, saying: "I have documents about information ensure Sadat's involvement in obtaining funds from three foreign countries, I will announce its names during the general meeting , after the ethics committee ecommende to drop the membership of MP Mohamed Anwar al-Sadat, following accusations that he forgoed the signature of another MP on a draft law, leaked the government’s NGOs draft law to foreign embassies.

He expressed his displeasure of Al-Azhar's role in the renewal of religious discourse. "We were waiting for a clear vision from Al-Azhar about the renewal of religious discourse after decades of deadlock, but since President Sisi' call for this issue, Al-Azhar did not achieve anything, except deleting number of school curriculum that are taught at Al-Azhar Al-Sharif," he added.

Abou Hamed does not rule out that elements of the Muslim Brotherhood still control Al-Azhar institution, and its senior scientists body, therefore, he called for reforming the body again.
