Casablanca - Said Bounowar
One-time children’s author Kinani Casablanca - Said Bounowar Moroccan journalist Farah Kinani has released a new book aimed at challenging American perceptions of Islam, claiming some US citizens view Islamic rituals as “strange.” “The book will explain the nature of Islam and attitudes towards Muslims who live in suspicion, fear and hatred in Western communities,” Kinani claimed. “Bad behaviour” by some Muslims abroad had fuelled Western animosity towards Islam, she argued. Farah Kinani, who lives in the United States with her Iranian husband, grew up in a conservative Moroccan family.
