Two Australian and Austrian ships managed to rescue two people from a Yemeni ship that sank 26 nautical miles north west of the Socotra Island in southern Yemen, carrying 60 passengers on board, including women and children. 
According to the Yemeni News Agency quoted Governor of Hadramout Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Braik as saying that local authorities sent distress calls to coastguards, coalition forces, and all rescue ships surrounding the area to participate in rescue operations. 
He further added that two joint operations between coalition forces in Mukalla and Socotra were formed, along with two Australian and Austrian ships to search for more survivors, hoping to find more survivors during.
